Flight Recommendations

There IS a local airport for Champaign, we just don't recommend it.

We STRONGLY recommend checking Bloomington, IL (BMI) Central Illinois Airport. They run fare sales all the time and the average ticket price is currently $230 (including all fees) from just about every major airport. BMI is about 30 minutes from the game site and the hotels.

If you want to fly cheaper, there are also the following:

Midway/O'Hare, Chicago (1.5/2 Hours from CU) -- Fly in and then take Amtrak down to CU or rent a car.

Indianapolis, IN (1.5 hours from CU) Super-cheap for flight stuff but you'll have to rent a car -- there is no Amtrak

Note: Southwest, AA, Delta and America West offer really good deals right about now. Check their websites!

Crash Space information

If you NEED crash space there are quite a few of us in CU that can accommodate a LIMITED amount of people, however you need to e-mail amityjones78@yahoo.com ASAP with any requests since floor space is apparently a hot commodity these days.
