Biography: Leonard Flynn, in tragedy plainly apparent to the elders, might once have been considered too young to have completed his agoge in the short time since the conclusion of World War 1. However in these modern nights, "shortcuts" have become the norm to counter the spread of the Sabbat and other enemies of the Camarilla.

Shortly after being released by his sire (Hiram Mackelvey), Leonard went to New York City, then held by the Camarilla. There he fell in love with urban sprawl, decadence, and the New Economy. The New Economy was perfect for Leonard, because money was free and it seemed like every investment was a sure thing. However, the New Economy was based on emotion rather than on economics.

At first, it was Enron. In December of 2001, almost overnight, Enron went from one of the most respected and innovative companies in America to the most hated and reviled. Leonard's stock went from $90 a share to mere pennies. In the year 2002, the New Economy failed spectacularly in what came to be known as the Dot Com crash. The NASDAQ stocks would lose over three quarters of their value as the whole house of cards came crumbling down.

And then the Sabbat invaded.

Leonard lost almost everything except for the small "emergency diversification" section of his portfolio, and a few key allies. His first excursion away from his sire's oversight had ended in a spectacular failure.

For the next few years, Leonard blamed himself. He was not active in any sort of political, legal, or financial endeavors, preferring to subsist and try to let the bitter memories fade.

Eventually, however, he started getting back in touch. Efforts were currently underway in the South to lead the retaking of New York City, and he considered moving to Atlanta to assist the Dux Bellorum, Jon Sebastian.

Instead it was St. Augustine, home of fellow clanmate Primogen Carter Johnson, Second-In-Command to the Dux and the Former Prince who had carved St. Augustine out of the Sabbat's territory. That domain was rumored to be immersed in a nation-wide scandal over the apparently sanctioned destruction of a Brujah Sheriff named Zorn Kempis, from the neighboring city of Gainesville Florida.

Leonard recognized that a domain in turmoil will likely emerge from the fires of controversy with a lot of empty seats to fill, and jumped at the chance to work next to such an influential clanmate as Carter Johnson. Additionally, the far-reaching duties of his Lictor Primogen and the local Praetor Elizabeth York's time in Great Britain would leave a lot of home issues to be taken care of by "somebody else". And if that somebody were to be Leonard Flynn, there would likely be accolades to go with his accomplishments.

Leonard pays close attention to detail, hoping to learn from the successful clanmates which surround him.

He has assumed the position of Harpy of St. Augustine shortly after receiving both the Equerrey for service as Whip, and the Aedile seat of the local Gerousia.
