Biography: Jonathon Gaines was embraced in 1894, and worked under Alexander Leight, a lictor and also his sire for more then 60 years. After his sire's destruction at the hands of the Sabbat, Gaines moved from city to city helping to solve the city's problems and assisting in promoting Ventrue interests in the area.
When he moved to Saint Louis, the city was overrun by Sabbat and Princes were being killed off on more then a monthly basis. Moving up through the ranks quickly (Primogen, Seneschal, Prince) Prince Gaines has recently declared his city (for the most part) Sabbat free and stability restored to Saint Louis.
Recently, Gaines has come back in touch with his humanity. A few quiet voices believed that made him too "weak" to continue to be prince. Thus far, however, Jonathon Gaines has proved them wrong.
