Who's who in the Clan of Kings

Jones, Vanya

Primogen of Gainesville, FL

Domain: Gainesville, FL

Status: Acknolwedged, Loyal, Trustworthy, Revered

Dignitas: Iron Circlet

Biography: Born Vanya Dimenkov in the cold of the Ukraine, this unusual and eccentric gentleman moved to the United States only very recently. A successful inventor of small and large scale clockwork toys (owning a few patents on some of them, like the mechanism for chattering teeth) along with an eerie sense of timing and precision caught the eye of the Ventrue in Valdosta. Embraced by Prince Gabriel Jones and under the Agoge of the prince for a time no less than a year, Vanya proved to be as skilled as a vampire as he had been as a mortal.

Some only know the man as the Clock Maker and the rumors far outstrip the quantity of fact known about the man before the time of his embrace in Valdosta. The six-foot-two, pale skinned, and raven mop-topped Russian seems to like it that way. Getting the vampire to talk about his past is a lot like pulling teeth, from a tiger with a toothache. His less-than-perfect eyesight is corrected by a pair of odd monocles linked by an articulated arm over the bridge of his nose. The only clues to his age lie in his appearance and his disdain for computers. He appears to be in his late thirties or perhaps in his forties but neither can be confirmed at this point.

While the vampire seems to support the prince and others around him, it would be wise to keep in mind that the only one he is truly loyal to is his clan and the Camarilla. Given the choice between supporting the current powers that be, or protecting his clan or the tenets of the Camarilla, his decision should come as little surprise or a great shock depending on how well you understand his motives. Efficient to the point of brutality at times he tailors his methods to suit the situation at hand for the greatest possible return on the smallest possible input.
